Yet Another eXist Client
YAEC is "Yet Another eXist Client". It's just a small application to access the XML database eXist. At the moment, it can be used in some cases but is still not comparable to the original client.
YAEC is implemented in Java as a Netbeans project. It is part of the eXist project and its source code can be downloaded via Subversion from sourceforge.net
If you just want to take a look, its better to use this binary snapshot:
yaec.tar.gz
Update 7/13/08: Since this weekend, YAEC has now an enhanced XQuery editor. Still have to update the manual. Update, 7/2/08: I uploaded a new binary snapshot with a lot more functions. Thanks to Kees de Kooter for providing the code for XML syntax highlighting! You can download the manual as PDF.
